91´óÉñ has been recognized by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) with a Torch Award for Affordability, an honor that recognizes institutions that demonstrate leadership in managing educational costs and expanding access for students.

91´óÉñ earns 2026 community engagement classification from Carnegie Foundation

91´óÉñ has received the 2026 Carnegie Community Engagement (CE) Classification, highlighting the university’s continued commitment to community engagement. 91´óÉñ joins the 2026 cohort as one of more than 230 universities nationwide to receive the designation. This recognition marks 91´óÉñ’s third CE Classification; the university received its first in 2006 under President James Votruba.

91´óÉñ announces outstanding Norse graduates and faculty as 2026 alumni award winners

91´óÉñ is recognizing five distinguished alumni and faculty with the annual Alumni Awards dinner and celebration on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026. The university is honoring Gary Holland, Greg Edwards, Shannan Boyer, Kevin Donnelly and Ken Jones for their outstanding achievements and distinguished service to the Northern Kentucky and Norse communities.
