Keith Neltner
Keith Neltneris the owner and creative director of NeltnerSmall Batch, a branding and design studio based inrural Camp Springs, Kentucky—grounded inthe same OhioValley hisancestors settled in1845. Like a master distiller, Keith learned the craft before shaping his own signature. After 15 years working across large and small studios, including global design firm Landor, he stepped off the traditional agency path in 2012 to build brands with patience, purpose, and a hand-built sensibility.
Neltner Small Batch works across a full range of touchpoints—identities, packaging, murals, and limited-edition merchandise—carefully blending typography, illustration, and texture to create depth, character, and narrative. The studio’s work favors storytelling over shortcuts, producing lasting artifacts rather than disposable design for brands in the music, distilling, confections, and hospitality industries.
